It is with great sorrow that our beloved Mother, Dianne Perret Landry, also known as Nana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 29,2024 at Pontchartrain Nursing Care in Mandeville, LA, surrounded by her family. Dianne was 74. Dianne was a resident at the Windsor Senior Community since November 2022.

She was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Dianne was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Lawrie Pierre Landry Jr, her son Lawrie Pierre Landry III, her Parents George and Althea Perret, grandparents Milton and Emeline Ruiz Wendling as well as her sibling, Debra Perret Farrell.

Dianne is survived by her beloved children, Christopher M. Olivier (Chere), Clint M. Landry and by her beloved grandchildren, Christopher M. Olivier II and Carly E. Olivier. Dianne also leaves behind her siblings, Craig Perret, Sandra Deshautreaux (Eric), Roxanne Dodgen, Kerilynn Trefny (Mark) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Dianne worked as a Bellsouth Telephone operator for 27 years. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Enjoying outdoor barbecues, crawfish boils and live music were some of her passions and hobbies. Our mother was a very generous and helpful person, always praying for those in need. The last 2 years she lived at the Windsor Senior Community in Mandeville, LA is where she developed many wonderful friendships with the residents as well as the staff. Dianne really enjoyed her time there, especially the Friday Happy Hour with live music and refreshments. She loved to cook and listen to Elvis Presley music on her Amazon Echo player as well as her love for feeding the ducks and turtles in the local pond. Dianne was an amazing Mother and Grandmother, and she will be missed dearly. Momma, We Love You…

The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff at Harmony Hospice and Pontchartrain Nursing Center for their care.

Dianne had a love for animals. In honor of her memory, donations can be made to St Tammany Parish Department of Animal Services in Lacombe, LA.

A private Celebration of Life will be held in her honor at a later date.
