Dewey Albritton

Dewey G. Albritton passed away on Wednesday April 5, 2017 at the age of 83 after a brief illness. He was a native of Marion, LA and a resident of Abita Springs, LA. He is the loving husband of Diane Bonadona Albritton. Dewey is preceded in death by his parents Wilburn D. Albritton and Linnave Green Albritton , and his daughter Jennifer Harris. Beloved father of: Janis Armand (Danny), Anne Albritton, Patricia Cockrell (Kenneth), Dewey Wayne Albritton (Susan), Douglas J. Albritton, Jonathan Albritton.  Beloved brother of Edwina Welch (Charles).  Also, survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dewey was a member of St. Jane De Chantel Catholic Church in Abita Springs.  He retired from Bellsouth after 39 years of service.  He was devoted to family and faith.  Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday April 8, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Jane De Chantel Catholic Church, 72040 Maple St, Abita Springs, LA 70420. Visitation 9:30 am until services. Interment will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA.  In lieu of flowers kindly consider donations to: Cancer Research, National Kidney Foundation, or Masses.
