Dennis Tisdale

Dennis Morgan Tisdale, a lifelong resident of Covington Louisiana, passed away at the age of 75, on Monday January 21, 2019. He was born December 19, 1943 in Madisonville, Louisiana. He was a heavy equipment operator, who loved to hunt, fish, and cook for his family. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Linda Willis Tisdale, a son Johnny Tisdale, and a daughter Janie Tisdale Frye (Roland), siblings Ruth Ann Sharp, Buddy Tisdale (Elaine) and T.E. Tisdale (Diane).  He is also survived by 8 grandchildren Roland (Dixie), Morgan (Kristen), Katelyn (Cody), Heather (Josh), Michelle, Nicole, Braxdon, Braydon and 5 great-grandchildren James, Noah, Alaina, Silhou, and Baby Roland, along with lots of nieces and nephews. Waiting at the gates of Heaven to welcome him home were his son Jimmy Tisdale, his parents C.V (Buck) and Lucy (Fitzmorris) Tisdale, siblings Paulette Jones (Everett) and Larry Tisdale, along with other family members. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Magnolia Baptist Church 76147 Highway 25, Covington, Louisiana 70435. Interment will follow Memorial Services in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers the family request that any donations be made to Magnolia Baptist Church in honor of Dennis Tisdale
