Dennis Thompson

Dennis Allen Thompson passed away on Thursday September 10, 2015 at the age 0f 54. Dennis is a lifelong resident of Folsom, LA.
He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Louise Mathies and survived by his loving children Dennis A. Thompson Jr., Dexter T. Thompson, and stepdaughter Erica King Crosby, and his loving father Delos A. Thompson Sr. He is also survived by his brothers Delos A. Thompson Jr., Michael H. Thompson and Julian M. Thompson, sisters-in-law Yun and Brenda Thompson, 20 nieces and nephews, and 13 great nieces and nephews. Dennis was retired after 22 years with St. Tammany Parish School bus system. In the 1980’s Dennis was the assistant director of the Covington Recreation Department, a member of the Louisiana Quarter Horse Association, and a member of Bogue Falaya Baptist Church. He also raised beef cattle on his farm, The Triple D Stock Farm.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Bogue Falaya Baptist Church, 78689 Hwy 25 Folsom, LA on Wednesday, September16, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Visitation from 11:00 am until service time. Interment will follow in Alison Cemetery, Folsom, LA.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations can be made to Bogue Falaya Baptist Church building fund.
