Dennis Jay Cooper is survived by his Sister Mary Martin (Ricky Roques). Brother Richard Terry Williams, Lifelong friends- Aaron Davis, Julius Miller. Nieces and nephews: Connie Ann, Richard Williams II “Bubba”, Desiree, Ricky Roques II “Mister”, Brandon, Joey, Chasitidy. Great Nieces and Nephews-Peyton, Molly, Landen, Elijah, Ryleigh, Bradlee, Michael, Lathen, Noah, Adysen, Averlee, Brice, Peyton Ross, Kade, Abby, Leah, Aubrielle, Phoenix, and Leila.
Dennis is preceded in death by his Mother Marietta Cooper, Brothers Jim, Ronald, and Donald Cooper, and Sister Connie Jean.
Dennis Jay Cooper, a devoted LSU fan and beloved family man, passed away on July 6th 2024 at the age of 61. Born on August 6, 1962. Dennis brought joy, laughter, and love to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Dennis had true passion for sports, especially those involving his cherished LSU Tigers. He spent countless hours watching games with his nephew Landen, sharing his deep love for the game and creating memories that will last a lifetime. His mornings were often filled with the warmth of a cup of coffee and the company of his dear sister Mary. A cherished routine that brought them closer together and started each day with love and connection. Known for his infectious laughter and great sense of humor, Dennis had a unique talent for making the entire family laugh. His stories, jokes, and lighthearted spirit were the heart of many family gatherings, leaving everyone with smiles and happy memories. He also had a special bond with his nieces, enjoying countless shopping trips that were more about the joy of being together than the purchases made. Dennis's heart was forever devoted to his lifelong partner, Amy. Their love story was one of deep connection, mutual respect, and unwavering support. Amy was his confidant, best friend, and the love of his life. Their bond was an inspiration to all who knew them. Dennis was a pillar of strength, love, and laughter for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of joy, love, and family devotion will live on in their hearts forever.
