Debra (Debbie) Ann Lynchard, the daughter of Lawrence Lynchard, and Barbara Ann Lynchard was born on September 24th, 1971 in New Orleans Louisiana. She graduated from Word Of Faith Academy in 1990, and by 1993 she had fallen in love and married Harold Joseph Benvenuti. It was a short lived marriage however, and by September of that same year she divorced.
To know Debbie, you would first have to know the challenges in her life. She battled Anxiety Attacks, Panic Attacks, and Depression on a near daily basis. Her condition was unpredictable, and outside stress would almost assuredly trigger an episode. It made it impossible for her to hold down a job, and that caused her to have self esteem issues, because she knew what kind of life she wanted, but was unable to provide it for herself.
That being said, Debbie was probably the most persistant and brave person that I know. Despite her disabling condition which would cause her to cancel plans at a moments notice, she never stopped wanting to go to different places, to explore, and try different things. Her mother Barbara was her security blanket, and Debbie dragged her everywhere. Debbie (and Barbara) loved the TV shows, Burn Notice, CSI New Orleans, and The Walking Dead. They would go to filming locations to see where the shows were shot, and they would go to the Comic Con's (conventions) to see the TV Stars and take pictures with them. She went on a cruise to Cozumel Mexico where Debbie took her mother on under water scooters and has gone more than a couple times to stay overnight at the Myrtles Plantation (touted as one of America's most haunted homes). Debbie had more recently booked a flight, and went to England, by herself, to see a friend that she was growing romantically interested in.
Debra departed this world on late Friday night, August 31st 2020, at her home in Pearl River Louisiana. She was 48 years old. She was joined in death by her parents Lawrence and Barbara Lynchard. As it was in her life, I have no doubt she is with her mother on another adventure.
Debra is survived by her brother Lawrence Edward Lynchard (his wife Kathleen) of Ocean Springs, MS, numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many friends.
