Debbie Kay (Riley) Griffin entered into the arms of Jesus on the evening of December 4, 2024, at the age of 72. Born on February 22, 1952, to Bob and Louise Riley, Debbie's life was marked by her faith, love for family, and the joy she brought to those who knew her.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Louise Riley; her beloved daughter, Britney; her sister, Marlene; and her brother, Robert. 

She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Debbie is survived by her daughters Staci Lewis and Lindsey Griffin, her granddaughters Kristin, Deja, Olivia, Madison, Maliyah, and Aubrey; 1 grandson, Devyn; her great-granddaughters Lilly and Ella; her sisters Charlene Thornton and Patricia (Tricy) Pierce and her husband. Wayne; and her brothers Mike Riley and his wife, Annet, and Jeff Riley and his wife, Terry. Additionally, Debbie is survived by 5 nephews, 7 nieces, 5 great-nephews, 5 great-nieces, and many dear friends in Mobile, Alabama. 

Debbie's warm heart, quick smile, and enduring faith will forever live in the hearts of her family and friends.

Debbie was a warrior and survivor, always doing what was best in life's trials and tribulations. A proud New Orleans Saints fan, Debbie's devotion to her southern Louisiana roots shone brightly in every aspect of her life. Her cooking skills, especially her seafood gumbo, were legendary among family and friends. She embraced the fun and merriment of Mardi Gras, always finding joy in its vibrant traditions. Debbie was also a naturally gifted craftswoman who spent her life designing and creating thoughtful gifts for her loved ones. Her creativity and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her.

Debbie's life was a testament to resilience, grace, and compassion. She will be deeply missed, but her family finds comfort knowing she is reunited with her loved ones in heaven and resting in eternal peace.

A celebration of Debbie's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
