Deborah Cangelosi

Deborah Coates Cangelosi of Covington Louisiana passed away on Tuesday September 19th at 11:40 a.m. at the age of 68, wrapped in the loving arms of her husband and children, and surrounded by her family.Deborah is survived by her husband Ralph Cangelosi Jr. Her three children, Ralph Cangelosi III, Michael Cangelosi, and Michelle C. Bonano.  Her eleven Grandchildren, Elizabeth C. Stow, Giovannina Cangelosi, Michael "Joseph" Cangelosi Jr, Shelby Cangelosi, Elijah Bonano, Ralph Cangelosi IV, Noah Cangelosi, Michaila Cangelosi, Sofia Bonano, Antonio Cangelosi, and Juliet Cangelosi. Her Siblings Betty Jo Edler, Joseph Coates, and Bruce Coates. A lifelong Louisiana resident, Deborah was born in New Orleans and was a graduate of Riverdale High school class of 1967.  She also received a cosmetology license from Jefferson Beauty College.  In 1969 she traveled to Chicago to receive certification making her a pioneer in the nail industry.  At 65 Deborah, earned a 4 year bible college degree from Faith Bible Institute. She was very proud of this accomplishment.

Deborah lived with her loving husband of 50 years Ralph Cangelosi Jr. A devoted wife, loving mother, adored sister, beloved aunt, and incredible friend, Deborah was happiest surrounded by the ones she loved. In her later years she developed a passion for painting, and became an accomplished student under the tutelage of her beloved mother-in-law and instructor, Dorothy Cangelosi. Deborah was loved deeply, and will be missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday September 22, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70435. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until service time. She will be laid to rest immediately following at Lighthouse Baptist church cemetery located at 27544 Driftwood Rd, in Folsom LA 70437.
