David O'Neal Taylor

David O’Neal Taylor, U.S. Air Force Veteran and resident of Bogalusa, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Our Lady of Angels Hospital.

David was 73 years old, born in Bogalusa on December 22, 1949 to Willie Ray Taylor and Joyce McNeese Taylor. He retired from the United States Postal Service.

David is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Lisa S. Taylor, his favorite aunt Yevonne Pierce, a sister-in-law Vicki S. Crain (Robbie), and brother Clifton Ray Taylor (Minnie).

David is also survived by his long-time and special friends who called and checked with him on a regular basis; Mr. Joe Alston, Mr. Mike Pace and Mr. Mark Stewart.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Ray Taylor and Joyce McNeese Taylor.

A special thank you to the staff who cared for David at Our Lady of Angels Hospital, Community Care Hospice, Northshore EMS, the Volunteer Fire Department that serves the Plainview Area, PAM (Post Acute Medical) Center, Ochsners Cancer Center in Slidell, Louisiana, as well as Bagnell & Son Funeral Home.

David was a wonderful person, loved life and had a great sense of humor.  He will be greatly missed. As per his instructions, there will be no services held.
