David Albert Jones

David Albert Jones of Mandeville, La passed away at the age of 79 on February 20th, 2023. He leaves behind his wife Ellen M. Jones (Dagata); his children Patrick M. Jones of Phoenix, Az, Eric D. Jones (Marie E.) of Mandeville, La, and Matthew P. Jones also of Phoenix, Az. He was also a proud grandparent of Amanda E. and Kailyn M. Jones. Preceded in death by his father Edwin P. Jones, his mother Anna Jones (Box), and his brother Edwin P. Jones Jr.

David was a member of the Rotary Club of Brunswick Islands, NC. Not only could he be found volunteering at the St Brendan Catholic Church Food Pantry of Shallotte NC, he was also an usher at the church. He also found time to serve as a board member to Brunswick County Literacy Council. His interests also included gardening, golf and spending all the time he could with his grandchildren.
