David Hooker

David Lee Hooker, age 58, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 in Hammond, La. He was born November 12, 1962 in Kankakee IL to David E. Hooker and Shirley Andrus (nee Pistorius). David was preceded in death by Stepmother Gwen Hooker, Stepfather Francis Downey, brother Michael Downey, and sister Karen Downey. He is survived by his wife, Mary Monestere, his mother Shirley Andrus and father David E. Hooker, his sisters Barbara Tate and Natalie Davis and brother Stephen Hooker, his son Christopher Hooker and grandsons Kolsyn and Kase Hooker, and other family and loved ones. A celebration of David’s life will be held at his son’s home on Saturday, October 16, 2021.
