Born on October 27, 1966, in New Orleans, Louisiana, David was a kind, sweet, and humble man of God whose gentle spirit profoundly impacted those around him.

Throughout his life, David embraced his role as a caretaker, providing devoted support not only to adults but especially to his beloved mother, Melanie Kuzela. He was a steadfast pillar of strength and love, and his kindness will be cherished and remembered by his family, especially his brothers, Danny Acosta (Amy) and Darren Acosta, along with his nephews, Emerson and Daniel.

David's faith was the cornerstone of his life. A devout member of the Catholic Church, he found joy in his spiritual practices, including saying the rosary, participating in Adoration, and sharing moments of prayer with fellow parishioners. His dedication to his faith inspired many and offered comfort during challenging times.

In addition to his commitments to family and faith, David had a passion for bowling, often finding joy and camaraderie in the sport. His warm smile and gentle humor made each gathering a little brighter and enjoyable for those fortunate enough to know him.

David is preceded in death by his father, Claude Acosta, and his step-father, Robert Kuzela. His passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him, yet his spirit of kindness, faith, and humility will continue to influence and inspire.
