Crystal Ericksen Wilson, a beloved wife, mother and friend, entered eternal rest peacefully on May 24, 2024 in Madisonville, Louisiana. She was born on October 5, 1961, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Crystal's journey through life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her children, family and friends. She graduated from Archbishop Chapelle High School and furthered her education by attending UNO. Crystal's passion for floriculture led her to obtain her Florist License, practicing the art with love and creativity.

An incredibly talented artist, Crystal poured her heart into designing and sewing, using her skills to craft beautiful clothes for her children, grandchildren and unique jewelry for her loved ones. In addition to her artistic pursuits, she dedicated her time to volunteering at churches and schools. Her creative mind and warm spirit touched the lives of many.

Preceded in death by her Father Virgil Nels Ericksen Sr. 
 
Survived by her loving husband David Warren Wilson Sr., Crystal leaves behind a legacy of love and creativity. Among those who will cherish her memory is her Mother Carol Saucier Ericksen, as well as her children Carol Anne Massey (Henry Lee Massey Jr.), Joshua Virgil Wilson, Alexandra Rose Soelman (Michael Soelman II), Zachary Gerard Wilson (Taylor Wilson), stepchildren Kristi Koloski (Dave Koloski), Kelly Beckendorf (Klint Beckendorf), David Wilson; brother Virgil Nels Ericksen Jr., grandchildren Noah, Maddy, Cameron, Colby, Luke, Reese, Layla, Carson, Paige, Wyatt, Ryan, Zachary Jr., Jack and Emery; great-grandchild Daniel Jr., and a host of other relatives and friends.
 
Crystal Ericksen Wilson will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love she shared and the beauty she brought into the world. May she rest in peace.

Memorial Service will be held on June 5th, 2024 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church 501 Holy Trinity Dr., Covington, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 10:30 and mass beginning at 11:30a. Internment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Garden in Covington, La. 

In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to be submitted in her name to Children’s Hospital of New Orleans.
