Crystal Eubanks

Crystal Seeber Eubanks, age 85, on Saturday, March 23, 2019, passed away at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home in Harahan. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Lee Eubanks, loving mother of Dr. Robert Lee Eubanks, Jr. and Holly Lynn Eubanks. Mother-in-law of Salvatrice Tafaro Eubanks. Devoted “Granny” of Kathleen Elizabeth Eubanks and Rebecca Leigh Eubanks. Sister of Marion C. (Cindy) Pecarrere, Aunt “Sissy” of Lisa P. Grosscup (Chad) and Joseph F. Pecarrere, III (Laine). Great-aunt “Grissy” of Elisabeth C. Grosscup and Hayden J. Pecarrere. She was preceded in death by her parents, Judge Marion G. Seeber, Crystal Edith Seeber and an infant daughter. Crystal was born in New Orleans on August 6, 1933 and graduated from Francis T. Nicholls High School and Loyola University. She was a dedicated teacher and educator, with a career spanning over 35 years.  Crystal was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Baton Rouge and, prior to that, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, New Orleans. Crystal touched many lives and was loved by many.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Service at the new location of Trinity Lutheran Church, 15160 S. Harrell’s Ferry Rd., Baton Rouge, La. on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 12 Noon, with the Rev. David Buss officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:30 am.  Interment to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, La.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Crystal’s memory to the Education Fund of Trinity Lutheran Church and School at 15160 S.
