Constance Fiechtner

Constance (Connie) Ann Fiechtner, 75 of Pearl River, LA went to heaven on Monday November 1st, 2021, peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born to the late Leonard and Frances Hausmann on January 2nd, 1946, in Arthur North Dakota.  She graduated from Ellendale High in 1963. She went to Beauty School in Jamestown, ND and went on to open her own Beauty Salon in Ellendale, ND.

She married the love of her life, Floyd Fiechtner, on July 1st 1967. Throughout their marriage they had several journeys including moving from North Dakota to Louisiana then to Wyoming and eventually settling back in Louisiana.

She is survived by her husband Floyd of 54 years, daughters Stacie (Bryan) McAndrew and Stefanie (Kelly) Tucker. Sisters Vikki (Kevin) Kendall and Debbie (Cliff) Dahl. Three grandchildren Daniel Fiechtner, Dorian Lockhart, and Savannah Montoya and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Jim and her mother and father.

She was passionate about devoting time to her children and grandchildren and being involved in the lives of her family and friends as they meant everything to her.

Everyone that knew her, will know the kindness that existed within her soul.

The family would like to thank the staff at Lakeside Hospice for their caring and support at such a difficult time.  At Connie’s request, there will be no formal services held. Instead, she asked that everyone celebrate the life she lived and cherish those memories.
