Claudia Batista

Claudia Batista of Slidell, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022.  Claudia was born on October 30, 1934 to Doroteo and Siria Santana in Fort Worth, Texas.

Claudia spent most of her career with Charity Hospital in New Orleans.

Claudia was predeceased by her husband, Jamie Batista (1921 – 1989).  She is survived by her brother Doroteo Fuentes, Jr. from El Paso, Texas.  She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her daughter, Maria Nunley and son-in-law William.  She also leaves behind her grandchildren Melissa Reso (Mike), Amanda Newell (Dominic), Kristopher Nunley (Lauryn) and great grandchildren Madison, Kaitlyn, Noah, Savannah, Addisyn, Charlotte and Luca.

Claudia adored her pets and loved to work in her yard.  She loved spending time with her family, was very much loved and will truly be missed.
