Clarence "Puggy" Ladner, 72, of New Orleans, La. and Picayune, Ms. was born September 22, 1943 to Clarence and Edith Lamy Ladner he passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 24, 2016 with his loving family by his side. Puggy is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Mary Lynn, daughter Lori Treitler (Carl), son Clarence (Joe-Joe) Ladner III, and Sabrina Hamann. His grandchildren Allison Torres (Will), Victoria Ballentine (Kris), Blake Beckwith, Teddy Treitler, Joey Ladner, Katie, Theresa, and Samantha Hamann. Great grandchildren Noah and Dylan Ladner, Gabrielle and Addison Torres, Twins Liam and Wyatt Ballentine, Karmin Hamann. Many loving cousins and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Ladner Sr. and Edith (Edie) Ladner English, and his beloved grandson Shane Joseph Ladner. Puggy was in the Navy Reserve until his father’s death then he took over the family business as a Milkman for Mullers Creamery. He worked at Whiteys Pool Hall, as a clerk on The River, he was part owner of ELCO a construction company, but the job he loved the most was Owner/Operator of Chef Pass Boat Yard and the JoeMama. He was a loving, giving, caring, husband, father, grandfather, and friend to so many. He enjoyed making people laugh, hunting, fishing, shrimping, crabbing, gardening, going to the beach, but mostly spending time with family.
A service will be held at Benville Baptist Church 12011 Lott McCarty RD. St. Picayune, Ms. September 17th 1pm with a celebration of his life following in the hall until 4p.
