Clarence Raymond Dutruch, 95, passed away peacefully at his home in Bush, LA on September 26, 2017. He was the husband of the late Kathleen Combes Dutruch and is survived by two daughters Linda Kramm (Charles Jr.), Deidre Dutruch McMurray (Michael) and one stepdaughter, Patricia Eddins and her family. He will also be missed by his companions and caretakers of the last three years Kim Hebert and Loretta Rossani. Mr. Dutruch was the son of the late Alphonse and Rebecca Williams Dutruch. He is survived by five grandchildren and five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Brother to the late Maurice Dutruch, Rosenell Dutruch King, Aschiel "Cotton" Dutruch, Geneva Dutruch Taylor and Houston "Jack" Dutruch.
He served in the United States Army during World War II and later worked at Kaiser Aluminum in Chalmette for most of his working life only leaving for a brief period to help construct the first span of the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway. As a young man he was an avid hunter and fisherman and later in life enjoyed gardening and the animals on his farm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70435 on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. Visitation at 10:30 AM with the memorial service at 12:00 PM. Interment at Barker-McManus Cemetery
