Claire Fitzwilliam Canik, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 in Covington Louisiana at the age of 89. Wife of the late Ferdinand Canik, she is survived by her children, James (Elizabeth), Paul (Pamela), Dianne Canik, and Jane (Thomas) Short, 16 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 20370 Smith Road, Covington, LA 70435. Visitation from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment in Eternal Rest Cemetery (adjacent to Bagnell & Son Funeral Home) 75212 Lee Rd.
