Cheryl Svehla FitzSimons

Cheryl Svehla FitzSimons, 67 years old, passed away early Wednesday morning December 18, 2024 at Passages Hospice in New Orleans, LA. 

Cheryl was born January 29, 1957. She graduated from Covington High School in 1975 and worked several years at Napa in Covington and Folsom. Cheryl loved tending to her many plants and animals. 

Cheryl is survived by:

Sister, Karen Svehla and her three children.

Son and Daughter-in-law, Robert “Wade” and Kristen FitzSimons.

Daughter and Son-in-law, Leigh and Richard Courtney.

6 Grandchildren: Nolan and Trent Hutchinson, Kara and Khloe Courtney, and Luke and Kate FitzSimons.

She was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Marionette Svehla, and daughter Amy Zerangue.

In accordance with her wishes, services will not be held. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
