Charlotta Ann Niles

Charlotta Ann Smith-Niles, 73, of Covington, Louisiana, passed away on May 10, 2024. She was a loving mother, friend, and a dedicated compassionate nurse who helped people until the day she died.

Charlotta leaves behind Terry Honore, her son Wayne Linder, daughter-in-law Lisa Linder, daughters Sissy Linder and Misty Linder-Tucker, son-in-law William Scott Tucker, Dawn Honore-Baehr, Chase and Robin Pendergraft, grandchildren Mason Linder, Aiden Linder, Leah Faith Lewis, Justin Lewis,  Coby Kirchharr, Rhiannon Kirchharr, Ty Kirchharr, Ely Kirchharr, Gunnar Kirchharr, Caroline Baehr, Jackson Pendergraft, Kennedy Pendergraft, Harrison Pendergraft and great-grandchildren Isla Mae Lewis, Walker Lewis, and Lainey Kirchharr. She is also survived by her siblings Bob and Barbara Smith, Jackie and Kris Smith, Danny and Denise Smith.

Charlotta was preceded in death by her father Albert Smith, mother Dora Smith, and husband Kerry Wayne Linder, Sr.

She graduated from Pascagoula High School and earned an Associate's Degree in Nursing from MGCCC. Charlotta served as a nurse for 55 years, working in hospitals, nursing homes, and doctor's offices in Mississippi and Louisiana. 

The funeral service will be held at Bagnell and Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70435.
