Charles Merritt

Charles Joseph Merritt,61,a resident of the Pine community passed away Saturday October 1,2022. He worked for Mr Ted Thomas on his dairy farm for years then worked for several more on Mr Ronald Jones Dairy . Charles most recently worked parking cars for the Washington Parish Free Fair until he became disabled.Mr Charles loved to fish and hang out with family . Most importantly he loved being around his daughter and grandkids.    Survived by daughter Misty Duncan and husband Alton Cooper ex bother in laws Frank Hamilton ,John Hamilton ,Bobby Hamilton and sister in law Goldie Harvey .He was also survived by. Grandchildren Sebastian Duncan, Alejandra Torres ,Krysten Turnage and special friend Demontre Baham and great granddaughter Kinyrie Baham .Brothers William Pettitt and David Byrd of bogalusa and numerous nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his mother Margie Merritt and Father Stanley Merritt ,Grandmother Murle Crain and Grandfather Ec Crain.Aunts Bernadette Lee ,Mildred Conerly and ex wife Mary Merritt . Uncles S.D Crain Tw Crain and Billy Ray Crain. A memorial will be held at a later time .
