Carolyn Kelly

Carolyn Sophie Sciortino Kelly peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the age of 94. She was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Covington for the past 10 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Edwin Kelly, her parents Lottie and Charles Sciortino, and sister Rita Sabella.  Devoted mother of Pat Riche’ (Bruce), and Larry Kelly (Joan). Grandmother of Kimberlee Kelly and Kristina Egert (Robert). Great-grandmother of Hannah and Sophie Egert. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and beloved pet, Leo. The family is deeply grateful to the staffs of Heritage Manor of Franklinton, Heritage Manor of Mandeville and St. Catherine’s Hospice for the loving care provided.

Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Carolyn’s memory to St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, 20370 Smith Road, Covington, LA 70435.
