Carol Kiern

Carol Kay Kiern 78, passed away peacefully January 28, 2019 at East Jefferson General Hospital Metairie, LA. She was born on May 4, 1940 in New Orleans, LA to Miriam Langenbecker Gibson and Mattie Carl Gibson. Kay was happily married to the late Martin Anthony Kiern (Bob) for 40 years. She was a Dental Assistant her entire career. She loved cooking, eating and spending time with her family and friends. Her children: Donovan David Raggio Jr., Lisa Raggio Charouleau, Louis Manuel Claveria Jr., Carlos Ramon Claveria (deceased), Gina Claveria Fucci and stepchildren: Kim Barnett, Terry Lamineck/Brunzel and Betsy Bruno (deceased). She was a loving grandmother of 15 grandchildren and a host of many great grandchildren. Siblings: Sally Gibson Lee, Carl Allen (Rip) Gibson (deceased). A Memorial Service will be held Saturday February 2, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. following the Family visitation gathering at 3:30 p.m. At Riverside Baptist Church 9220 Jefferson Highway, River Ridge, LA 70123.
