Carol Boyd

Carol E Boyd, 89, earned her angel wings on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Trinity Trace Community Care Center in Covington, La.
She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late John R Boyd and Camille B Boyd. She is preceded in death by her loving sister, Dorothy B. Couch and her brothers, Pat W Boyd, Virgil J Boyd, John R Boyd, Jr., Thomas Boyd, and her twin brother, Hartley T Boyd. She is survived by countless nieces and nephews, whose lives she has touched greatly by her constant presence and unwavering love, all who will dearly miss her, but forever hold her in their hearts.
Carol worked for K&B Drugs for 30+ years where she never met a stranger. After her retirement, she would frequently encounter the many customers she came to know because of her outgoing and caring personality.
Throughout her sister’s eight year battle with Alzheimer’s, she faithfully and lovingly tended to her needs, and selflessly gave her time and made sure she was being cared for.
The family would like to give a very heartfelt thank you to Notre Dame Hospice for its compassionate care during her final days.
 A private graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Bagnell and Son Funeral Home in Covington, Louisiana with inurnment at Eternal Rest Cemetery.
