Butch Lewis Lemoine went into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday February 7, 2024, at the age of 77. A resident of Lacombe, LA with his wife Lynn Lemoine since 2004 , and a former resident of Slidell. He grew up in New Orleans, was an altar boy at his church and attended Warren Eastern High School.
Butch was a proud Louisiana Army National Guard Veteran who served honorably, loved his country and GOD above all. Most of his life he was blessed to have his own business as a residential builder. He also loved to fish, especially in the pond in his own backyard. He most loved having family gatherings on his beautiful property to celebrate birthdays and holidays.
Butch is survived by his wife Lynn Lemoine, his daughter Bonnie Lemoine Leonard (Matt) and his Grandson Ross Lemoine. Three stepsons, Darrell Mittelstaedt (Colette), Darren Mittelstaedt and Derrick Schlumbrecht (Scott) and two stepdaughters, Doreen Mittelstaedt and Darnay Bourlet. He has 13 grandchildren and 10 Great grandchildren along with nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents Neven and Helena Lemoine, his son Brett Lewis Lemoine and his sister Diane Livesay.
Butch’s humor, gardening and building knowledge will be sadly missed by all his close family and friends.
As Butch would say, “Glad you had opportunity to see me!”
He will be laid to rest at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell, Louisiana.
A private gathering of family and friends will proceed the service.
