Brenda J. Milliet, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away on February 9, 2025, in Slidell, Louisiana. She was born on January 5, 1956, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to the late Louis J. McGee and Allie "Helen" McGee.
A devoted parishioner of the First Pentecostal Church of Slidell, Brenda touched the lives of many with her unwavering faith and dedication to her church community - a community that she embraced wholeheartedly. Brenda's talent and passion for music has influenced the lives of her children and grandchildren. Her interest in of sewing, crafting, cooking, and antique collecting, showcased her creativity and love for artistry, enriching the lives of those around her.
Brenda is survived by her loving family, including her daughter, Bridget Ascher and her husband Kevin; son, Brad Milliet and his wife Alicia; and her cherished sisters, Priscilla Morgan, Laura Hessler, Faye McGee, Jan Laletin, and Kaye Chubb. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by her grandchildren, Destiny Rich-Bennett, Braxton Milliet, Maci Milliet, Annaleise Ascher, and Ethan Ascher, along with her great-grandchildren, Ridge Bennett and Jaxson Bennett.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on February 22, 2025, at the First Pentecostal Church of Slidell, located at 388 Robert Blvd, Slidell, Louisiana, beginning at 10:00 AM. This gathering will honor Brenda's life and the countless memories she created with those she loved.
Brenda J. Milliet's legacy of love, kindness, and creativity will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. Her warm spirit and kind heart will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.
