Brenda Joyce Brocato Long passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at the age of 66. Brenda was born in New Orleans, La on Sunday, July 18, 1948 to Jake Brocato, Jr. and the late Margaret Mable Cuevas. She is survived by her beloved husband, Woodrow W. Long, Jr.; her daughters, Maria-Elena Lawrence Melerine (Scott), Kerri Ann Lawrence Lightell (Rickey), and Tracy Lynn Lawrence Jeanmarie (Dave); her brother, Jake Emile Brocato (Eileen); and her sister, Roseann Brocato Vesley (Mike). Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, 1 niece and 3 nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Landmark Church, 20188 Landmark Lane, Covington, LA 70435 on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 12:00 pm. Visitation will be held at church from 10:30 am until service time.
The interment will be private.
