Betty P. Russell passed away on Thursday December 15, 2016 at the age of 71. Betty is the loving companion of Scottie Sharp. Betty was preceded in death by her late son James Harrison Peel, her late brothers and sisters: Edith Mae Russell, Hugh Gene Puckett, Carl Ray Puckett, Ronnie Lee Puckett, and Claude Puckett, Jr. She is survived by her children Nelson Ray Peel, Alice Jo Taylor, Robin Christine Russell, Meliena Kaye Taylor a grandchild raised as a daughter. Also survived by her former spouse Leonard Russell, her brother and sisters, Wanda Lou Welch, Lilian Fay Keys, Donald Clay Puckett, and Margie Ann Nicholson, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend the Grave Side Service on Tuesday December 20, 2016 at 12:00 noon in the Willie Cemetery. A gathering will take place fowling the service at 12007 Hwy 1077, Folsom LA. 70437
