Betty Ann Helton, a beloved mother, grandmother, and partner, passed away on March 23, 2025, in Abita Springs, LA. Born on February 13, 1970, in Chatom, Alabama, Betty brought joy and creativity to the lives of everyone she encountered.

Betty was a vibrant individual with a passion for life that was reflected in her many hobbies and interests. She loved Disney, dragons, 80's music and dancing. An artist at heart, she enjoyed painting portraits, with her talent extending to writing poetry. Above all, Betty treasured the time she spent with her children and grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by her significant other, Curtis Turner, as well as her beloved children, T.J. Ballero, Rebekah Ballero, and William Helton. Her siblings Christy Cothran, Robert Helton Jr., and Shelly Mills. Betty's family grew larger through her eight grandchildren: Ajai, Alaihna, Jaxon, Lexy, Evelyn, Rebekah, Bethany, and Nick, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Lastly, she is survived by her former mother-in-law, Betty Balero. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Delores Helton.

As we remember Betty Ann Helton, we celebrate a life filled with creativity, love, and an unwavering spirit that touched the hearts of many. Her legacy will live on through her family and the countless memories they shared together. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
