Betty Dawson

Betty Fay Reynolds (Graves) Dawson of Covington, LA passed away peacefully on November 1, 2021, at 80 years old, surrounded by her loving family.  Betty was born on July 2, 1941 in West Virginia.  Betty was an active member of The First Baptist Church of Covington for many years.  She spent her career working for Bell South Telephone Company and was a contributing member of The Bell South Pioneers upon retirement.  Betty enjoyed reading her Bible, gardening, sewing, making jewelry, and spending time with her family.  Betty was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, two brothers, and her late husband Donald Dawson.  She is survived by her sister Sally Pennock Lawrence; daughters Debra Graves (David) Pitfield, and Donna Graves. Her Grandchildren Kristy (Charles) Robinson, Daniel(Sarah) Pitfield, and Leif Graves. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Bryson, Brody, Brooks, and Bristol Robinson.

Arrangements are entrusted to Bagnell & Son Funeral home.  A Visitation will be on Monday November 8, 2021 at 10am followed by a Funeral Service at noon and a Burial at Eternal Rest Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a Thank you to Lakeside Hospice, and Restoration Senior living center and their staff.  She will be deeply missed.
