Bertha Lenore "Nora" Coyne

Bertha Lenora (Nora) Coyne, Nora was a lifelong resident of Covington,La. She was born in Warnerton, La to the late Pearlie Mae Phillips and Edwards Shelton Hughes. Nora passed away peacefully in the home her & her husband built their lives together in while surrounded by her family at the age of 79.

Nora is survived by her two children Penny (Ken) Crouch, and Leonard (Ellen) Knight, and her Grandchildren Cindy (Dwayne) Pittman, Cassy (Matt) Gayman, Brittany Knight, Reagan (Brianna) Crouch, Brandi Knight, Her great grandchildren Cameron Welch, Savannah (Tyler) Comeaux, Alexandra Pittman, Sebastian Garafola, Ava Garafola, Skyla Jackson, Aaliyah Darensburg, Kajah Jackson, Easton Jackson, AJ Darensburg, Addison Darensburg and her great great grandchildren Johnathan Comeaux, Brielle Comeaux, her siblings Winnie Leblanc, Jimmy Rester, Darlene Hughes. She is preceded in death by her husband Johnny (John) Coyne, parents Pearlie Phillips & Edward (Bud) Hughes, her siblings Sarah (Katherine) Knight/Richard Sr, Pete Hughes, Elois/Robert Knight Sr., Elvin Hughes, Johnnie Watson, and two nieces Pam Sharp, and Melynda Coyne and her beloved granddaughter Jami Knight.

Nora was a devoted wife and homemaker for the last 55 plus years. Her greatest joy was found in loving and caring for her family, a legacy of devotion and warmth that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th, at 11AM, with Funeral Service beginning at 1PM at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, located at 75212 Hwy 437 in Covington, LA. Burial to follow in the Bruhl Cemetery Folsom, Louisiana.
