Benton Bordelon Jr.

Benton “BJ” Jean Bordelon Jr., 88, went to God on December 6,2022. He was born December 30, 1933 and was preceded in death by his parents Benton Bordelon Sr. and Lilley May Mahler Bordelon and by his beloved wife of 66 years Shirley Bradley Bordelon. Their union was blessed with three children Benton Bordelon III, Bruce A Bordelon, and Cheryl Bordelon Eads, three grandsons Stephen A. Clesi, Jr., Michael Benton Clesi, and Joshua Adam Clesi, Sr., four grandchildren, Emma G. Clesi, Isabella R. Woodruff-Clesi, Joshua A. Clesi, Jr.,and Gianna A. Clesi. Benton Bordelon worked over thirty years as a seismic draftsman for Exxon and served in the National Guard Reserves. He and his wife travelled extensively after his retirement from Exxon and he loved his Saturday family cookouts. In his later years, he thoroughly enjoyed his time with friends at the Windsor Senior Living Community in Mandeville, La. Friends and relatives are invited for services at 1:00 PM Monday December 12, 2022 at Bagnell & Son Funeral Homes in Covington, LA. Mass will be at 1:30 PM.
