Barton "Buddy" Longman, Jr., 54, of Port Sulphur, LA was born on March 25, 1960 and passed away on Friday, September 26, 2014.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a funeral service and internment on Friday, October 3, 2014 at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Road, Slidell, LA, 70460 at 11:00 A.M.
Buddy was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and his life will be celebrated with full military honors. A memorial will follow at the home of Shawn and Stephanie Longman at 35120 E Moran Road, Pearl River, LA, 70452. Buddy was preceded in death by his brother, David L. Longman, Sr.
He is survived by his parents, Barton Sr. and Florence Longman; two sisters, Robin Brewer and Laura Alderman (Wyman); three sons, Shawn (Stephanie), Jason (Kabryna), and Travis (Brittany); five grandchildren, CJ, Trentyn, Keri, Morgan, and Karli; a host of nieces, nephews, loving family, and friends. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.
