Barry Pierce

Barry Paul Pierce passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015 at his home in Mandeville, LA, at the age of 76. Barry was born on April 15, 1938 in New Orleans, LA. He was a graduate of St. Aloysius High School and Louisiana State University. He obtained his masters degree from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA.
Barry was preceded in death by his parents, John "Elmo" and Leontine Boos Pierce and his brother, Brian Pierce.
He is survived by his beloved daughters, Laurie Pierce Main (Mark), Tara Pierce Bosley, Julie Pierce Pulido (Raul), Elizabeth Pierce Brandt (Harry), and Rachel Pierce Garner (Jeff). Brother of Donald Pierce (Katherine) and Gerald Pierce (Bea). Grandfather of Michael, Stevan, David, Pierce, William, Stephanie, Joseph, Marissa, Amanda, Brittany, Anita, Austin, Emily, Rachel, Rebekah, Matthew, Anna, Jack, Daniel, and Caroline. Also survived by nine great grandchildren, and one niece and nephew.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service in the chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 11:00 am. Visitation from 9:30 am until service time.
