Barry Lynn Krohn

In Loving memory of Barry Lynn Krohn devoted husband to Sharon Bernard Krohn and loving father to Shannon Krohn, Tracy Krohn Neupert (Gary), Joshua Lamar Krohn, Byron Frederick Krohn, Renee’ Krohn Roberts (Travis), and Stevie Lynn Bloomer (Nicholas). Barry was a great grandfather to Adelyn, Claire, Gavin, Ariana, Josie, and Easton. And, Barry was grandfather to Gary Joe, Dustin, Macie, Christine, Claudia, Ryan, Amber, Vince Jr., Bryon Jr, Travis Jr, Wyatt, Hunter, and Natalie.

Barry was preceded in death by his loving parents Frank and Thelma Krohn, his brother Frank Krohn Jr, daughter Shannon Lynn Krohn, son Joshua Lamar Krohn, and grandson Gary Joseph Neupert. Barry also has two loving brothers Richard Krohn (Gail) and Rodney Krohn (Diane).

Throughout his life Barry maintained a true friendship for over sixty-five years with Richard Handleman (Marilyn). He will also be remembered by his two other close friends Vince Frederic Sr. and Jerry Frederic. Barry is sadly missed and thought of by his loving mother-in-law Melrose M. Bernard who lived with him for the past twenty years.

Barry had many passions in his life such as fishing, attending, and watching car races, the Saints football league and riding his Harley.

He was also a drummer in many local bands such as with his brother-in-law Neilson Joseph Bernard Jr. Russ Russell, and many other local talents. In his later years he became “The Diamond Dotz King.” He created many beautiful pictures which he was happy to share with family and friends.

Barry was a family man who loved spending time with his children, and his extended family. Barry and Sharon were lifetime partners for 48 years (married 44 years), and together faced and worked through anything that came their way. They were and will remain best friends through eternity.
