It is with sad and heavy hearts that the family of Barbara Comeaux Lagnion annouces her passing away on Saturday June 4, 2016, at the age of 82
Private family services and interment will be held Friday June 10, 2016 at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Lafayette, LA.
Barbara was born in Lafayette, LA. and lived in Covington, LA. for the past 27 years. She was a retired elementary school teacher and a devoted mother, grandmother
and great grandmother. She enjoyed her family, her friends, her ladies bible study and long walks with her dog Minnie.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Antoine and Iris Mouton Comeaux. Those left to cherish her memory are her children Melanie Duplantier (David),
Iris Stewart (David), Annette Thomas (Robert), William Lagnion (Nanci), Barbara Evans (Tabb), fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
