Arthur "Pete" Hagan Knipe, III. passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 in Covington, LA at the age of 78. Pete was born on February 20, 1937 to Louise and Arthur Knipe, II in Pittsburgh, PA.
Beloved husband of 57 years to Mary Louise Luke Knipe. Father of David L. Knipe (the late Julie), Arthur "Archie" H. Knipe, IV, Lenzey C. Knipe (Susan), and the late Brian D. Knipe (Robin). Brother of Mary Alice Skelton and David William Knipe. Grandfather of Aubri Benton, Melanie S. Hood (Ryan), Justin L. Knipe, Ryan D. Knipe (Susie), Kristen A. Knipe, and Sean M. Knipe. Also survived by six great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services in the chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA on Tuesday evening, June 9, 2015 at 7:00 pm. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until service time.
