Arthur Arseneaux Jr

Arthur Andrew Arseneaux, Jr. peacefully passed from his earthly body to enter eternity with our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the age of 73.  He was born in New Orleans on January 5, 1942 and moved to Slidell in 1967.  He served in the U.S. Navy before working at American Standard and then Lockheed Martin Marietta.  He gave his heart to the Lord and became a member of the Secular Franciscan Order.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur P. and Anna B. Arseneaux.

He was the cherished husband of Lucille B. Arseneaux.  Beloved father of Arthur A. Arseneaux, III. (Denise), John P. Arseneaux (Kathy), and Joanna A. Sperandeo (Mario).  Grandfather of Omar B. Ictech II (Danica), Taylor M. Arseneaux (Josh), Ian A. Arseneaux, Johnathon T. Arseneaux, Miguel R. Sperandeo, and Billy Hughes (Arielle).  Great grandfather of Lilah Marie Ictech.

His bonus children are Christina Wall (Roland), Jude LeBlanc (Charity), Maria Strother (Shayne), and Noelle Addlesberger (Joseph). Grandchildren, Peter Tortorich, Kristin Tortorich, Jonathan LeBlanc, Jeanne’ LeBlanc, Miranda O’Brian, Arielle O’Brian, Elise Strother, Thomas Strother, Lucille Minton, and Tara Leger.  Great grandchildren, Shawn Rogers, Jaden Rogers, Alex May Jr., Lily O’Brian, Aiden Strother and Emalee Minton.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1050 Robert Blvd., Slidell, LA. on Saturday, May 30, 2015. at 1:00 pm.  Visitation at church from 11:00 am until service time.

Interment will follow at St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery, 75376 River Rd., St. Benedict, (Covington) LA.
