Arnold Jenkins

Arnold “Ziffle” Jenkins, a resident of Bush, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at the age of 66.  Arnold is survived by his wife, Sherry Creel Jenkins, his two daughters, Bridget Jenkins King (Ronald) of Folsom, Louisiana and Natalie Jenkins Hughes of Bush, Louisiana. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his grandchildren; Steven Wade King, Hannah Elizabeth King, Lauryn Louise King, Emily Brooke Hughes, Savana Paige Hughes, Makayla Grace Hughes, and Christopher James Hughes as well as his great grandchildren, Ryder Smith and Waylon Lane King. Arnold leaves behind one sister, Josie May Husser (Clifton), two brothers, Dean Jenkins (Karen) and Leroy Jenkins (Helen), one sister in law Elizabeth Jenkins and numerous nieces and nephews.  Over the course of his life he worked for Boufalya Farms, W.R. Core, Parish Concrete, and TL James until he retired. Arnold loved to fish, hunt, canoe, and be outdoors. He enjoyed going on fishing and hunting trips and hanging out with his friends. The only thing he loved more was spending quality time with his wife and his family. His favorite pastime was telling jokes to everyone and he loved being “pawpaw” to his grandchildren and great grandchildren very much. Arnold is preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth McLain Jenkins and Elars Jenkins, his brothers, TJ Jenkins, Wilfred Jenkins, Fredrick Jenkins, Milton Jenkins and his sisters, Yvette Smith, Hilda Anthony and Elaine Anthony. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home on Monday, August 31, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in the Lee Road Pentecostal Cemetery.
