Anthony Graffeo, Sr.

The Lord called Anthony “Tony” Graffeo, Sr. home on May 26, 2019 at the age of 79. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Marlene Graffeo; his son Anthony “Tony” Graffeo, Jr. (Suzanne Rappold), his grandchildren: Amanda Morgan (Leander), Abbie St. Onge (Zachary),  Steven Graffeo, Collin Rappold and Brent Rappold; his great-grandchildren: Kaili, Elaina, Baylee, Brooke, Austin, Gwenna, Cinco, and Clover; his former daughter-in-law Tina Micheu; his mother-in-law Marion Lamarque; and his sisters-in-law Jean Lusco and Joan Bowden. He is preceded in death by his mother and father Thais and Elmo Graffeo; his brothers Richard, Warren, and Eldin Graffeo; and his sisters-in-law Lana Wilson and Beverly Nunez.   When Tony wasn’t working in his workshop making swings and front yard decorations, he could be found coaching at Rebel Park or working behind the scenes at Jazz Land as an engineer. His humor and practical jokes will be missed by anyone who had the opportunity to spend even just a few minutes with him.   A small Memorial Service will be held at Covenant Baptist Church in Slidell, LA on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 10:00 AM. A Repass will be held at 951 Gause Boulevard West, Slidell, LA 70460 following the service.
