Ann Easley Murray Armand, after a long battle with cancer, our beautiful, courageous, devoted wife, loving mother, sister, and friend, passed away on October 26, 2015, with her family at her side. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert Joseph Armand, Sr., her three sons, Robert, Jr. & his wife, Laura, of Spring, Texas, Anthony and wife, Sheryl, of Mandeville, and Christopher Armand; plus three grandchildren; Megan, David and Josh. She was born on January 12, 1945 in McComb, MS. She was one of three children and is survived by her sister Mavis Murray Fore, and her husband, Bob, of Nederland, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Frankie Easley Murray, and her brother Ray Franklin Murray.
They spent the majority of their married life in their home in Luling, Louisiana, where she was active as a Den Mother and helped teach catechism alongside her husband. She was employed as a church secretary and later as a clerk for St. Charles Parish. As a hobby, they both enjoyed duck and bird carving. After retirement, Ann and Bob moved to their current home in Covington in 2010 where they became parishioners of St. Benedict Catholic Church. Her spirit and courage will live on in the many lives she has touched. We will love and miss her until we join her in heaven.
On Wednesday, October 28, family and friends are invited to visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 a.m. followed by Mass, at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Covington. Burial service will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Masses be offered in her memory.
