Anita Jones

Born July 4, 1926, Anita Cooper Jones left this world for her heavenly home on March 19, 2021.

She was the daughter of Robert C. Cooper and wife of Edsel Jones, Sr., to whom she was Married for 65 years. They had 2 children Edsel Jones Jr. and Kathy Jones Judge.

Anita worked for the Federal Reserve Bank in New Orleans before moving to Covington where they started and ran Covington Air Conditioning for over 40 years. She loved the outdoors and traveling in the USA. She was a wife and  home maker.

She leaves behind one sister, Verda (Bee) Breland, 97yrs old, her son, Edsel Jones, JR., and daughter, Kathy Jones- Judge. She will be forever missed until we meet again in heaven.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, May 30th 2021, At the home of Edsel Jones, JR. at 21333 Spring Clover Lane, Covington La 70435 from

1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
