Amber Massey

On August 15, 2017, at around 11:00pm, Amber lost her battle with a deep and secret depression. In that moment, she chose to harm herself. Her wounds put her beyond the ability to feel pain from the moment the choice was made. She was unable to recover from her wounds. She was released from this world, body and Spirit, on Friday, August 18th, 2017. She was 31. She is survived by her mother, Missy Massey, as well as her fiancée, Sean Schoenhardt. She is also survived by the three recipients of Amber's final gift of organ donation, as well as the loved ones of those recipients.  Her memory will be further kept and guarded in the hearts of countless friends and loved ones. Amber touched so many lives with her light and her love. Amber was fiercely devoted and loyal to her family.  Those that she loved found it in them to love her back; just as ferociously.  She was never afraid to put the work in to do things the right way. Her strong will meant when she made up her mind to do something, she got it done. She was fire embodied and spirit set free. She was Amber. Period.
