Alvina Louise Eberhardt, age 71, resident of Slidell, Louisiana was called to her heavenly home on March 27, 2021 at the home of her daughter under the care of Hospice. Alvina was born on Saturday, January 21, 1950 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Proceeding Alvina in death are her parents Geraldine Wischan and George R. Eberhardt, Sr. and brother George R. “Hoppy” Eberhardt, Jr. Left to cherish her memory are her loving children Michael Humphrey and Cassie Humphrey, grandchildren Brooke Alleman (Adam), Olivya Humphrey and D’Shai Flemming, great-granddaughter Ellie Alleman, sisters Bonnie Eberhardt, Carol Olsen (Sammy) and brothers John Dykes, Frank Eberhardt (Heather), Gary Dykes, Troy Eberhardt and Aunt Shirley Anderson. Also, numerous nieces and nephews and her best friend, Linda Gaffney as well as many, many loving family and friends.
Alvina was a very crafty and creative and loved to sew. Some of her happiest times were cruising on Carnival Cruise Ships and playing Pokeno with her “Pokeno Divas”. Most of all, she loved her family and faith. Alvina will be dearly missed and will live forever in our hearts as we remember this beautiful, friendly, funny lady.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at First Pentecostal Church of Slidell, 388 Robert Boulevard, Slidell, Louisiana 70458.
