Alvin Meiners

Alvin "Goggie" Lloyd Meiners passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at his home in Mandeville, LA, at the age of 85. Goggie was born on July 31, 1929 in Mandeville, LA.
He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Goggie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Theresa S. Meiners.
He is survived by his five children, Meredith "Meg" Ratliff (Tommy), Laurel Futch (William), Dawn Cyprus (Tony), Goggie Luke Meiners (Donna), and Hans C. Meiners (Rachel). Also survived by many grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 11:00 am. Visitation from 9:30 am until service time.
The interment will follow in Mandeville City Cemetery with Military Honors.
