Alvin Knight, Jr.

Alvin Leon Knight, Jr., our husband, father, grandpa and son, of Covington, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 11:40 a.m. at the age of 59.  Alvin leaves behind to cherish his loving memories, his mother, Rosemary Knight, his loving wife, Debby Knight, his children; Travis Knight (Amber), Jessica Taylor and Joshua Knight. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Alexia, Matthew, Braxtin, Brylee, Gabrielle, Aiden and Trace, his siblings; Dennis Knight, Patricia Summeral, Christina Husser, Nicholas Knight as well as many nieces, nephews and friends, including his dogs, Lucy, Kemo, Zoe Bug, Louey John and Toby.

Alvin is preceded in death by his father Alvin Leon Knight, Sr., grandparents, Velma Knight and William Knight, his brother Donald Paul Knight, father-in -law John David Dillon, Jr. his nephew Steven Cody Waguespack and many friends and family.

Alvin had a passion for cutting firewood, welding, crabbing, dancing, eating boiled peanuts and eating at any Chinese Buffet around. Alvin’s biggest passion was his family, he loved being there for them, especially his little girl and two boys, and loved them all dearly.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Wednesday August 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Internment to follow in the Willie Cemetery in Folsom, Louisiana.
