Alta Storie

Alta Owen Storie, Age 98 passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Louis Storie and mother of Hazel Theresa Storie (Wayne D. Alford) and daughter of the late Smith Owen and Cornelia Bryant Storie. Alta is the grandmother of Ethan, Gabby, Payton, and Rudy Troxclair, and sister of Charlotte Robichaux (Maurice) (Deceased). Alta is also survived by her faithful and loving friend Rachel Baker and her family. Mrs. Storie was very active in the activities of Red Bluff Baptist Church thanks to her friends Pete and Ouita Galloway. Mrs. Storie was also active at Landmark Church of God in Covington (Lee Road area). She was a resident of Abita Springs, Louisiana for many years before moving to Mandeville in her later years of life. Mrs. Alta loved to travel throughout the United States; and enjoyed gardening at her home. Family and Friends are invited to attend Funeral Services on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 12:00pm in the Chapel of Bagnell and Son Funeral Home. Visitation is from 11:00am until service time. Internment is to follow at Abita Springs Cemetery.
