Aloha Elizabeth Ingram passed away on Sunday July 29, 2018 in her home in Covington, Louisiana at the age of 79 after a battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her husband Lionel R. Ingram, her father Douglas C. Plaisance, Sr., mother Aloha Carlise Plaisance, son Lionel Ingram III, sister Sandra Omes, brother-in-law Anthony Omes and sister-in-law Linda Plaisance. She is survived by her children Katherine Ingram, Marc Ingram, Sr., Callie Dugas, step-daughter Yvonne Kuchler and her brothers; Frank Weaver, Jr. and Douglas Plaisance, Jr. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Aloha was a resident of Metairie and Covington throughout her life. She made her place known on this planet! She was quite the spitfire! No better defender—no worse adversary! She had a heart as big as the sun and a personality to match. All that knew loved her and counted themselves as lifelong friends. Everyone has a story involving Aloha that will make them smile forever. To honor her, the family asks that you show an act of kindness to someone. Special appreciation to Ms. Linda Ryan and community of Saint Scholastica Academy. Their heartfelt care, kindness and genuine concern for our mother is matched by no other.
