Aimee Wenk

Aimee Kay Martin Wenk, Honey to her beloved grandchildren, 55, of Covington, Louisiana passed away peacefully on September 2, 2022 comfortably at home. She was born January 14, 1967 in Covington, Louisiana as the youngest of four siblings.

In 1985 she married David Alan Wenk in Covington, Louisiana and they soon began a family. They had two daughters, Bailey Paige Wenk and Katie Adrianne Wenk. Bailey married Cody Williams and had two sons, Braydon and Cooper Williams. Katie married Glenn Landry and had a daughter Layla Landry. Aimee was a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

A lifelong resident of Covington and a Class of 1985 graduate of Covington High School, she always took pride in her friendships and was an active member of CHS Alumni. She is loved by many friends.

She is survived by her husband, David Wenk, her daughters and their families, Bailey, Cody, Brayden and Cooper Williams and Katie, Glenn and Layla Landry. Her brother Gary Martin, Willie Mae Keating Galloway, Hank and Ginny Durr, Cory and Julie Mulligan and their children Ajah and Bastion, as well as Casey as Casey and Becky Jones and their children, Amanda and Zora. She had countless members of her family she remained close with. As well as a friend made with every person she would ever meet.

She was loved by many and she truly loved so many in return. She will be greatly missed but always remembered.
